EZZY is a nutrition tracker for iPhone: photograph a meal, describe it, or say it out loud, and it logs the calories and macronutrients for you.

Common questions

The calories for my meal look wrong. Open the meal and edit it. You can change any ingredient's weight, add or remove ingredients, and the totals recalculate. Photographs of mixed or covered dishes are the hardest to read accurately, so a short typed description often does better.

How do I fix my daily targets? Profile › your daily goal. Targets are worked out from your age, height, weight, sex, activity level and goal, and you can override any of the numbers yourself. They are estimates, not medical advice — see below.

I subscribed but the app still asks me to pay. Tap Restore purchases on the paywall. Restoring only works on the Apple ID that made the purchase, so if you have more than one, sign in to that one in App Store settings first. If it still will not unlock, email us.

How do I cancel? Apple handles billing, so cancel in App Store › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting your EZZY account does not cancel a subscription.

How do I delete my account and my data? Profile › Delete account. It is immediate and permanent: your profile, diary, photos, chat history, water and weight entries, streaks and push tokens are all removed. It cannot be undone.

I am not getting reminders. Check that notifications are allowed for EZZY in iOS Settings › Notifications, and that reminders are switched on in Profile.

Apple Health is not syncing. Grant access in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › EZZY. The app reads workouts, active energy and step count, and writes back the workouts you record in it. Nothing read from Health leaves your iPhone.

Not medical advice

EZZY is a general nutrition and wellbeing tracker, not a medical device. Its targets are estimates and the in-app assistant can be wrong. Nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Speak to a doctor or a registered dietitian before making significant changes to how you eat — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, or living with a condition such as diabetes or an eating disorder.

Privacy

What the app collects and who processes it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
